How To Change Drawing Template In Solidworks

Not the sheet template, the drawing template, complete with layers, formatting, standards, title block, and all the other features that come in a drawing template? We Need To Change These Template To A New Template Were The Dimension/Annotation, Units Etc Will Be Updated To The New Template.

Just consider we are having two different drawing templates x & y. It seems that a macro would be ideal, i've tried a few from these pages but they don't work for me ('change_sheet_format.swp' does formats, not templates.

I have searched but couldnt able to find any option for that. I then open an old drawing and go to property and try to change the template to the new one. I Could Go Through Each Individual Drawing And 'Reload' But I Was Hoping To Automate It.
